Frank Furness - Revolutionary Philly: Making Building Out of His Head

The Zurbrugg Mansion was designed by the renowned architect Frank Furness.  During the fall of 2012 leading cultural institutions will showcase the architecture of Frank Furness (1839- 1912). Working for Philadelphia institutions that were led by engineers and industrialists Furness’ designs embodied the raw energy of the great engines that powered his age.
